Nature Informed Therapy is a holistic approach that integrates the healing power of the natural world into the therapeutic process. Grounded in the understanding that humans have an innate connection to nature, this practice helps individuals find balance, reduce stress, and foster emotional well-being through guided outdoor experiences, mindfulness practices, and eco-therapy techniques.

Depending on the time of year, I am able to offer Nature Therapy in several forms, including Walk and Talk in-person therapy at various pre-determined local parks and trails. I also enjoy offering group therapy during hikes at local locations throughout the year.

Spending time in nature has been shown to lower anxiety, enhance mood, and promote overall mental and physical health. Whether through mindful walks in the forest, grounding exercises in open landscapes, or reflective activities by water, Nature Informed Therapy encourages self-discovery and healing in a serene, natural setting.

This approach is ideal for individuals seeking an alternative or complement to traditional therapy, offering a space for renewal, resilience, and personal growth. By reconnecting with nature, clients often gain clarity, reduce emotional distress, and cultivate a deeper sense of peace and purpose.
